Ksenia (preferred, and Ksenija Laskova being full name) is an experienced classically trained pianist, music educator and researcher. Her performance practice mainly centres around standard piano repertoire as well as slightly lesser know Romantics such as Sergei Lyapounov, Alfreds Kalnins and female composers of the 20th century. Her educational beliefs closely aligned with posthuman philosophies - the subject matter which she continues to explore in her research work and writings.
Through her teaching practice which she conveniently calls KOVA ED, Ksenia provides regular one-to-one piano and music theory lessons as well as GCSE/ A Level music coaching, and ad hoc competition and audition training. She is also on demand as an accompanist and collaborative pianist.
As an educator Ksenia is versatile and will tailor her methodology/methods and approach according to the needs of the pupil. She is pleased with the accomplishments of her pupils many of whom are prizewinners in various music dompetitions and festivals, gained music scholarships, places at prestigious junior conservatoire departments and joined the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain.
