Sofia Livotov - Teacher of Piano (South East London)
Sofia Livotov is a piano and singing teacher based in London with over 12 years online and in-person teaching experience. As a graduate from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam (MMus), the Lucerne School of Music (MMus Pedagogy) and the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media (Diploma in Piano & Music Education) she has been working individually as well as with small groups and has been preparing her students regularly for school performances and ABRSM exams. Her ability to combine piano, singing and music theory lessons is a major advantage for students keen on learning either or all of them. Sofia has experience working passionately as a piano teacher, both self-employed as well as for various schools, including the International Boarding School Ecole d'Humanité in the Swiss Alps. Sofia has performed at international venues and festivals, such as Tête à Tête Festival (UK), Tonhalle Zurich (Switzerland) and Tivoli Vredenburg (Netherlands). In 2019 she has made her successful appearance on the Indonesian concert stage and has given vocal masterclasses for young singers in Jakarta and Bandung. |
As an emerging artist, Sofia has been generously supported by Swiss and German foundations, as well as by the Nicholas Boas Charitable Trust in the UK. In 2020, she has been selected for the prestigious Oxford Lieder Residential Masterclass for Singers & Pianists together with the Indonesian pianist Prajna Indrawati and has been awarded the Help Musicians’ Transmission Fund.
